IQAir HealthPro Review
I have seen and used different air purifiers both for my home and office. However, among those air purifiers, I'd say that the IQAir HealthPro is head and shoulders ahead of the pack. You see, this air purifier from IQAir was built to be used from รข??clean rooms' - which are commonly found in hospitals. For many, this air purifying unit may prove to be more than what they really need.
But if you're living with someone who's highly sensitive to allergens (like me, my son is asthmatic), then the IQAir HealthPro is exactly what you need. Now don't be surprised by the price - this air purifying unit is about 2 or even 3 times more expensive than the common air cleaners and purifiers.
However, this is well compensated by the fact that it can clean and capture up to 100 times more particles - pollens, allergens, and more, than your usual HEPA cleaner. As for the coverage - I'm giving this purifier 2 thumbs up! Think about it - not all purifiers can handle and clean up to 1100 square feet (at maximum fan speed mind you)...some of them won't even come close to that.
To add to that, it comes with the superior quality H12/13 class certified HEPA filter. Just in case you don't know, these high quality HEPA filters can serve you for years...about 4 years if I'm not mistaken. That means the time and effort needed for maintenance is significantly reduced.

To show you what these HEPA filters are capable of doing, it can capture particles down to 0.01 microns and its efficiency is almost perfect! This beats other filters, which can only capture particles down to 0.03 microns, out of the water. Although such filters cost about $200 or so, with a quality and duration like that, I'd say it's worth every penny.
The only quibble I have with the IQAir HealthPro is that the fan is a little noisy when set on high speed. Since as mentioned earlier, my son is asthmatic, I don't take chances and set the fan speeds at maximum. It can be a little annoying.
Overall, however, even at its steep price, the IQAir HealthPro is definitely recommended.
