Filtration Stages

Amazingly, the IQAir HealthPro Plus Air Purifier uses some of the same technology as is commonly utilized in these clean rooms. This machine uses H12 and H13 graded HEPA filtration, which is able to filter out particles all the way down to 0.01 of a micron.

Furthermore, V5-Cell technology eliminates gases and odors - a phase which is especially useful to those with asthma and some chemical allergies.

Design & Style
As we already mentioned, the IQAir HealthPro Plus Air Purifier is definitely one of the largest home air purifiers that we have reviewed. Despite this, you shouldn't struggle to find a place for it in your home, as it is relatively modern, and doesn't present any harsh images to the eye.

The design is effectively a tower style, as the air gets pushed through each phase in a vertical direction.

Accreditations
The IQAir HealthPro Plus Air Purifier uses HEPA rated technology - which is able to filter out 99 percent of airborne particles. There is no mention as to whether this HEPA technology is medical grade or not, but obviously if it is H12 class certified, it should be on the same, if not a higher filtration level.

Effectiveness
In our tests, the IQAir HealthPro Plus Air Purifier performed incredibly. Our test settings presented the machine with difficult airborne particles, such as smoke, paint fumes, and mold spores. An air quality exam after the test showed that literally 99.89% of the air had been cleared.

Being able to filter particles all the way down to 0.01 microns in size, as well as the H12 HEPA technology, and the 1,000 square foot operational range, simply means that this machine is a state of the art piece of technology.
