Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier Review
Probably one of the sleekest designs we have seen from Honeywell so far this decade (OK, we're only at the very beginning of it) - the Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier is the epitome of cool. With its dimmed neon blue lighting at the front, contrasted with the black frame and curved components, this air purifier is sure to turn heads in your own home.
But aside from the looks, it there anything else worth jumping up and down for on the Quiet Clear air purifier? We put the machine to the test, and have the results to show you exactly what we think.

Filtration Functions
Typically, tower design air purifiers are only able to shoot air through one filtration plate (due to the size). This is certainly not the case for the Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier though. Incredibly, whilst maintaining the compact design, the manufacturer has succeeded in incorporating both HEPA technology and a UV light filter in to the same device.
This means that the bacteria, mold, fungi, and toxic spores which are floating around in the air - but too small for the HEPA filter to pick up on - will be instantly killed as they pass the UV filter. This really is a case of true design genius.
Design & Style
The Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier has been designed to be extremely user friendly. An easy to use and intuitive interface at the top of the tower immediately lets the owner know what mode the air purifier is in, how much air is being processed, and what speed the far is on.
There is also a programmable timer on the machine - allowing it to be automatically turned on and off at different times during the day. Furthermore, the motors are padded with special "anti-noise" material, so the machine is exceptionally quiet.
Accreditations
These days, energy consumption is becoming a major focus of households, as they battle with the power companies to save as much money on energy as is physically possible. Leaving this machine on 24 hours a day will not hit you in the pocket as much as many other home air purifier products will, as the energy efficiency has been a major focus for the Honeywell engineers.
The UV bulb for example uses only 75watts when it is turned on.
Effectiveness
In a 200 square foot room, the Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier is able to process all of the air at a rate of 5 times per hour. This means that if the product is left on all day, there is absolutely no chance that any airborne particles will survive longer than about 30 minutes (or 2.5 cycles). This makes for an exceptionally clean environment.
Our Rating of Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier
After comprehensively reviewing the abilities of the Honeywell Quiet Clean Air Purifier - we are confident that the machine deserves a 5 star rating. Whilst it's certainly not the bee's knees when it comes to home air purifiers, the price and the size both combine with the performance to make this an incredible model. We have always enjoyed the efficiency of Honeywell products, and continue to see this as a major draw card for the company.
